Women in Their 40s

What’s the difference between women in their 20s and 40s?

I remembered then I was both timid and daring. Too timid to face who I was, and daring to brave the storm in life.

Now I find women of my age both strong and vulnerable. Each day they are stronger than who they were yesterday; they are also vulnerably seen — they embrace their imperfection and still believe they are of great value.

Women in their 40s know how to mingle with friends but not meddle in others’ business. Women in their 40s decide not to ask for love, but they are becoming more lovable. Women in their 40s are calmer yet warmer. They make peace with themselves, and then they share their passion for life.

Thank YOU, my dear friends, who have helped shape who I am today.

It’s Women’s Day — A day worth celebration!
